color text box

Purpose
To display or change the color for the current active light source.

Usage
Click the color text box to activate it (red outline), and the prompt will appear:

GIG provides 3 methods for entering color values in the color text box:

  • 1 Using the following syntax: "color(r,g,b)" where r, g and b are red, green and blue values. A value of 0.00 is equivalent to 0, a value of 1.00 is equivalent to 100
  • 2 By entering one of the predefined color names. See Valid Color Names below.
  • 3 By assigning a map. If you type a ? followed by <Enter>, the selection submenu will be displayed where you can make your selection from the available file maps.

    Comments
    The default color for a light is white.
