Usage
Click the add button to activate it. Position the cursor anywhere in the active window and click to add a control point at the end of the path. You can position the added point by holding down the middle mouse button and moving the mouse. Click the left mouse button to fix the position of the new control point.
Comments
The add button does not deactivate by itself. Multiple additions are possible while the button remains active. Select another button on the menu or another menu to deactivate the button. The add button functions only when either point in path mode or path mode is active.
If the spline mode toggle button is active, you will not see the actual control point when it is added, but you will see the spline change shape. If the close path toggle button is active, you will not be able to see the end of the path.
The add button can be used to start from scratch, but then all (or all except one) default points of the current free form have to be removed first.
