Introduction
- In the edit menu, solids can be selected in different ways, using up, left, right, get solid tag, multiple tags, and pick prim.
- The CSG tree can be viewed and edited using view tree. Here you can also cut, copy, and paste solids, lights, attributes, transformations, animations, etc.
- Solids and animations of solids can be deleted using delete and delete ani.
- Polygonal models, NURBS. and Sculptor objects can be edited using edit poly, edit nurbs, and edit sculpt.
- Parts of the CSG tree can be saved using save active.
- Complex CSG models can be evaluated for wire frame and flat shaded representation.
- Evaluated models can be exported to polygonal data formats.
- Tags can be automatically assigned or cleared using auto tag.
- Transformation levels can be added to create extra intermediate coordinate systems.
- Display levels can be assigned and selected to display only a certain part of the CSG tree in wire frame or flat shading.
- Comments
- To select solids in other menus than the edit menu, use get solid tag or the u, l, and r keyboard shortcuts to navigate the tree.
