Usage
to activate it. By holding the middle mouse button down while moving the mouse, the currently active part of the tree will move along until you press the left mouse button, (right mouse button will cancel the last transformation). If the keyboard toggle button is active, you must enter numerical values to perform the move. You will then see the following prompt in the status area:
x?
![]()
In response to this prompt, enter the distance you want the currently active part of the tree to move along the x axis. If you do not want to move in that direction, simply press <Enter> and the next prompt will appear. Do the same for the y and z axes.
Comments
When no axis is active, transformations are relative to the current window.
When global or local axis is active, transformations are relative to the corresponding axis:
to transform in the y-z plane, activate cam1
to transform in the x-y plane, activate cam2
to transform in the z-x plane, activate cam3
If you want to move along only one axis with the mouse, use the move button in conjunction with the xy toggle button. For example: when switching the xy toggle to y, the object can be moved only in one direction.
The position in world coordinates of objects may also be changed by entering numerical values in the x, y and z input boxes in the status area.
